KWEMA MODERN SECONDARY SCHOOL has a Modern computer laboratory which was officially
launched by the former Shinyanga Region Commissioner Mr.ALLY NASSORO RUFUNGA on
13.9.2013 which gives opportunity to its students to study and do various
computer practicals. It is the only secondary school in KAHAMA DISTRICT
WHICH teaches computer subject and being among the two schools teaching ICT
in SHINYANGA region. It has been doing well in region and National rank
on the Computer studies For instance for the past three consecutive
years, the school has done exceptionally well, ranking the 4th
Region- wise in 2016 NECTA
Results; 1rd in 2017 and 1rd in 2018 NECTA Results. Among the Courses which are taught
are:-

¯ Network ,Internet
¯ Computer Software and Hardware Components
¯ Web. Development......
Whereby
these courses are taught according to the curriculum and assessed at the Form
Two National Assessment (FTNA) and Form four NECTA examinations (CSEE)
at the national level. Our Learners are provided with Certificates to verify
that they have this essential and important Knowledge and Skills.
All this is due to the available competent professionally Qualified
teachers of Kwema Modern Secondary School due the
profound Wisdom and learned approach of the able Head of School Mr. Kasagula
Mwiga and his staff, this has been achievable!
